Privacy Policy

The SAA Arbitration Tracker (the “Application”) is a private, internal practice-management tool operated by Shawn Aiken PLLC (“we,” “us”) for the sole use of the firm and its authorized personnel. This policy explains how the Application handles data when it connects to third-party services such as Intuit QuickBooks Online.

1. Information we access.

When you authorize a connection, the Application accesses financial information from the connected account — for example, Profit & Loss and other accounting reports from QuickBooks Online, and billing or transaction records from other connected services. The Application accesses only the data needed to display the firm’s own financial and case-management information.

2. How we use it.

Accessed data is used exclusively for the firm’s internal financial management, reporting, and case administration. We do not sell, rent, or share this data with third parties, except (a) as necessary to operate the Application’s own infrastructure, or (b) where required by law.

3. Storage and security.

Shawn Aiken PLLC uses reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information processed by the Application. Access is limited to authorized firm personnel. No method of electronic transmission or storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

4. Retention and revocation.

Data is retained only as long as needed for the firm’s business and legal purposes. You may revoke the Application’s access to a connected account at any time from that service’s settings (for QuickBooks, via the Intuit account’s connected-apps page); revocation stops further data access.

5. Third-party services.

The Application’s use of information received from Intuit APIs adheres to the Intuit Developer rules and regulations, including applicable limited-use requirements.
